WHAT IS THE TODDLER TALK PROGRAM?

HOW IS THE TODDLER TALK STRUCTURED?
“Toddler Talk” is open to all without regard to race, color, national, or ethnic origin. Students are admitted upon consideration of a complete diagnostic evaluation and parent interview. The evaluation must be recent (within 6 months of the application for admission). The classroom is limited to a maximum of 6 children ages 24-36 months old. Morning and afternoon class times are offered during the week. Classes are three hours in length, and children can attend one to five days per week.
WHO ARE THE TODDLER TALK TEACHERS?
SPEC strongly believes in a "team approach" to provide your child with the best and most complete services available. The program is run by a bilingual certified Bachelor's or Master's level teacher. A Bachelor's level individual assists the teacher the entire length of the program. In addition, an onsite speech pathologist, occupational therapist and music therapist work with the classroom teacher to monitor and revise the program goals and those of each child as needed. Individual speech-language therapy may be incorporated into the child's program.
